In a decisive move to eliminate the tragedy of building collapses in Nigeria, the Certified Accreditors Programme (CAP) has officially launched in Lagos State. This groundbreaking initiative brings professionals together to enforce a unified approach to building regulations and codes of conduct. The Mission: Structural Accountability The construction industry has long faced challenges due to fragmented communication and a lack of adherence to safety standards. CAP acts as the definitive "Cure for Common Unprofessionalism" by: Enhancing Safety: Ensuring strict compliance with national building regulations across all sites. Establishing Oversight: Training accredited professionals to conduct high-stakes inspections and audits. Enforcing Standards: Establishing a culture where non-compliant buildings are reported to relevant authorities for immediate enforcement.
